The mission of Cancer Patient Care is to provide social service support to cancer patients and their families in our region who have limited financial resources.

A variety of essential services are provided to cancer patients and their families who meet our income guidelines. The services below are provided once income and diagnosis have been verified and clients have met  with one of our social service professionals. Note that no cash is provided directly. We have established accounts with partnering businesses and arrangements are made for delivery of services.

-Financial Assistance including: Groceries, Prescriptions, Utility bills.

-Gas Vouchers, transportation assistance and bus passes

-Emotional support

-Nutritional supplements including liquids and puddings

-Cancer-related education al materials

-Survivorship information

-Lymphedema garments

-Breast cancer screenings

No income guidelines apply to the resources below:

-Medical Equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, shower equipment, hospital beds

-Medical products such as incontinence supplies, etc. ]

-Wigs, hats and scarves

-Breast prostheses and surgical bras

Cancer Patient Care receives no fees for service. All assistance and support is provided free to qualifying clients and their families

Cancer Patient Care is a LOCAL agency. All monies raised in our area STAY in OUR area to assist people here.
